My electricity subscription follows me everywhere!
Xavier rents a nice ski cabin for a week from March 2 until March 9th noon. When he arrives, the electricity is off. Xavier touches the smart power meter at the entrance of the flat. The smart meter displays "Hello Xavier, you have a temporally subscription until March 9th noon" and he sees the lights come on, and can feel the heat starting to warm the flat.
How does this work?
Xavier starts the eGo pairing by touching the smart power meter. The eGo pairing done, there is a wireless logical channel of communication allowing the transfer of the rental contract and Xavier's customer identifcation with his electricity provider to the smart meter. This data is sent to Xavier's electricity provider by the smart meter thanks the smartgrid and smart metering technology.
