No more keys and no risks!
Karen stops her car in front of a restaurant. The parking valet opens her door and helps her to step out. He gets into the car and drives it one hundred meters to the car park.
Two hours later, Karen comes back to the parking valet who returns her car to her.
At no point has Karen given her car keys to the parking valet . The valet has not been able to drive more than few hundreds meters away. Nobody besides Karen and the valet could have operated the car.
How does this work?
By touching the car door handle, the parking valet starts an eGo pairing between the eGo compliant device (the car) and his eGo. Then a logical channel of communication is available to transfer the credentials for moving the car. The car computer can check the authenticity of the parking valet (certificate).
